Role & responsibilities
- Create innovative and cost-effective mechanical designs based on project specifications and requirements
- Responsible for the preparation of general arrangement, Bill of Materials and submission to the customer as per project schedule
- Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar)
- Perform mechanical calculations and selections of various mechanical parts like bearing, Shafts etc
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and ensure the design meets overall product requirements
- To prepare the design and BOM in ERP and create the documentation
- Should be proficient in creating manufacturing drawings and define tolerance with GD&T
- Should have proficiency with engineering tools related to stress analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Vibration analysis such as Ansys or equivalent methods
- To coordinate and communicate multiple task simultaneously.
Skills to have
- BE – Mechanical with 3+ years of experience
- Should have hands on experience with design softwar – Solidworks & Ansys
- Should have knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices
- Should have strong presentation skills
- Should have exceptional time management and project completion skills
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication abilities
