Role & Responsibilities :
- Create, Review and process purchase order in accordance with company policy
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedule and payment terms
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with supplier to ensure reliable supply chains
- Issue PO and ensure timely delivery of materials also resolve any delays or issues.
- Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities for the products like Bearings, Insulation, Cables, Copper, Paint, Blower, Fan Covers, VCI Covers, etc
- Develop and maintain strategies to reduce procurement cost without compromising on quality
- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure optimal stocks level.
- Maintain accurate record of procurement activities, supplier performance and item specifications
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, Cost savings and supplier performance for management review
Desired candidate profile :
- Proven 7+ years experience in handling end to end purchase activities
- Strong understanding of procurement process and best practices
- Experience with ERP software would be an added advantage
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
