Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Procurement of castings, forgings, machined parts, piping, pipe fittings & fabricated assemblies
- Identify and develop suppliers as per Indian Railways approved vendor directory
- Drive cost-effective sourcing while ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Build strong supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations
- Monitor vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery) and implement improvements
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, QA, Production) for smooth execution
Key Skills Required :
- 5-10 Experience in Railway / Bogie / Heavy Engineering procurement
- Strong negotiation and vendor development skills
- Knowledge of Indian Railways vendor approval system
- Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills
