Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for raw material procurement in line with company standards.
- Source materials at competitive prices while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; lead commercial negotiations and finalize contracts.
- Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost) and implement corrective actions when required.
- Conduct market analysis to track price trends, availability, and mitigate supply risks.
- Ensure continuity of supply through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
- Work closely with internal teams (Production, QA, Planning) for seamless procurement operations.
- Identify and source suppliers from Indian Railways Vendor Directory where approved vendor conditions apply.
