Role & Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed mechanical HVAC system designs, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air filtration systems, based on the project requirements and client specifications.
- Product Design & Development for Railways & Metro Application.
- Evaluate energy consumption, and provide recommendations for energy-efficient designs and technologies to optimize operational costs and meet sustainability goals.
- Creating appropriate design and layout principles and standardizing product.
- Heat Exchanger Design Calculations and component choice selection.
- Calculating heating & Cooling Loads with According to standard.
- Calculating heating & Cooling Loads with According to standard.
- Creating BOM & Provide cost estimates for each item.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent.)
- Support manufacturing teams in resolving technical issues.
Skills to have:
- BE – Mechanical with 3+ years of experience required
- Proficiency in HVAC load calculation tools (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, Carrier software)
- Strong skills in CAD software (AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Basic understanding of CFD, airflow analysis, and energy modeling (e.g., EnergyPlus, IES VE) is a plus.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadline.
