Role & responsibilities
- Perform in-process inspections and final product inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Conduct tests on electric motors, including performance, safety, and durability tests, to verify compliance with industry standards
- Work with production teams to resolve quality issues in real-time and ensure product specifications are met
- Investigate product defects or process failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components used in motor manufacturing
- Use data analysis tools such as Six Sigma, SPC (Statistical Process Control), or FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) to optimize quality control processes
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001 ) and environmental regulations
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspection results, quality audits, and corrective actions taken
- Prepare reports for senior management on quality performance, trends, and improvement activities
Key Skills Required :
- Proven experience 3+ years of experience in quality control or quality engineering within the electric motor manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specification
- Knowledge of quality management systems
- Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with various teams
