Role & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed weekly/monthly/yearly project schedules using project management software.
- Establish milestones and deadline for various production phases till dispatch
- Coordinate with purchase department and planned purchase orders
- Coordinate with Purchase and Store department for material review in terms of quality, quantity and available stock etc
- Coordinate with production mangers, engineers and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and updates
- Conduct regular meetings with production teams to discuss progress and address any issues
- Monitor project or production progress against the establish scheduled
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior management
- Estimate resource requirements and allocate resources accordingly
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans
- Ensure that production plans and schedule adhere to industry standards and best practices
- Lead and manage internal planning team and provide training, guidance as necessary
Key Skills Required
- Proven 6+ years experience in project or production planning and scheduling.
- Should have ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices
- Excellent written and verbal communications
