The company offers a broad range of electrical insulating compounds -

  • EPOFINETM – 290A/290B/290C (Trifunctional Epoxy VPI Resin – Class 210):

    These resin systems are a combination of multifunctional epoxy resins and a special anhydride hardener. This is an ideal impregnating system for traction motors. Consumption of resin is low as there is no wastage during processing. Penetration is excellent because of low viscosity at impregnation temperature. Low shrinkage during curing in time minimizes stress in winding. This system is devoid of styrene and this facilitates healthy environment.

  • EPOFINETM 502NA/FINEHARDTM – 502NB AND ACCELERATORTM 502NC (Epoxy Resin system for Traction Motors):

    These resin systems are a combination of multifunctional epoxy resins and a special anhydride hardener.

  • EPOFINETM – 823A / FINEHARDTM 823B (Sealing compound for pole coil traction motor):

    This system is high temperature resistant fibroid reinforced epoxy sealing compound. It provides excellent sealing of pole shoe so that potting compound is retained between pole shoe and coil for traction motors.

  • EPOFINETM – 821A/ EPOFINETM 821B/FINEHARDTM 821C/FINEFILLTM 821D (Pole Coil Potting Compound for Traction Motors):

    This system is high temperature resistant epoxy compound. It provides excellent bonding between pole shoe and coil for traction motors.

  • FINECOATTM – 1410 / THINNER 1410 (Class H Finishing Varnish for Traction Motors):

    It is an ideal finishing varnish for class ‘H’ machines and it ensures protection from moisture and chemical attack. It provides good adhesion and bonding to winding. It gives a tough, flexible and smooth film. It also gives good appearance to windings.

  • FINECOATTM – 195 (Application on overhangs & core pack of traction motor):

    This Varnish is single component electrical insulating and heat resistant coating comprising heat stable pigments with an epoxy modified binder. It has an electrical insulation and anti tracking properties.

  • FINECOATTM – 285 & THINNER 285 (Bonding armature coils & Pole Coils):

    This varnish is a synthetic varnish based on modified epoxy resin and comprises flow control agent along with adhesion promotes. It is an ideal compound for sticking various components in arm assembly and yoke assembly.

  • INSUFINETM – 294 (Coating of inner periphery of commutator):

    This varnish is based on modified isophthalic acid. Solvents are mild enough so that there is no deleterious effect on enamelled wires. This is an ideal varnish used for coating inner periphery of commutator.

  • CATALYSTTM 200 (Catalyst for treating tapes):

    This is an imidazole catalyst that is used with VPI Resins.

  • FINECOATTM – 101 NA/ FINEHARDTM 101NB/ ACCELERATOR 101 NC (Finish coating for Resi-glass tapes & Coating of PTFE Ring):

    This system is a combination of low viscosity epoxy resin, liquid hardener and a tertiary amine. It is widely used in traction machine to fit the PTFE ring and is used as finishing coating on resi glass tapes.

  • FINERELEASETM 707 (Mould release agent) :

    This system is a translucent solvent-based silicon release agent having spray able or brush able consistency. It can retain its consistency if temperature is as low as 10 repellant. 0 C. Its composition is non hazardous and it is highly water.

  • FINECOATTM 9001 (Heat resistant primer – 500 C):

    This system is a translucent solvent-based silicon release agent having spray able or brush able consistency. It can retain its consistency if temperature is as low as 10 repellant. 0 C. Its composition is non hazardous and it is highly water.

  • INSUFINETM – 5002:

    This is used for impregnation of all types of electrical equipment that is used in conditions leading to Class H temperature rise. It cures in to a hard tough mass suitable as insulation in motors and transformers. INSUFINE® – 5002 can be processed by any conventional impregnation methods, such as dipping, flooding, VPI (vacuum pressure impregnation).
